Lene is a working student supporting the decentralized development of the Bosch Alumni Network.

Before joining the iac Berlin beginning of 2022, Lene gained work experience at the NGO Baphumelele which provides health and education services in Khayelitsha, South Africa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Cultural and Social Anthropology and Art History from the Free University Berlin and is part of the Global Studies Program at Humboldt University Berlin.

While studying at FLACSO Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi, India, she deepened her theoretical knowledge on Feminist and Decolonial theories which helps her at present to pursue her master’s thesis about Transnational Feminist Mobilizations and Solidarities.

In her spare time, you can find Lene bouldering with friends or spinning clay on the potter´s wheel for meditative purposes.
