Maheen Irfan Ghani

Student Worker Communications

With a journalistic background from her home country of Pakistan, Maheen supports the communications on behalf of the Global Diplomacy Lab. Her work benefits from her questioning the role of populist politics and the future of democracy. A news junkie by passion, she loves to discuss crime stories or obscure protests in other parts of the world.

Maheen has a Masters degree in Political Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London and is currently also enrolled in a Masters program in Digital Journalism at HMKW University in Berlin.

Her love for words and a passion for politics is what drew her to communications-based diplomacy and brought her to Global Diplomacy Lab where she continues to better understand the need for dialogue to address the current global conflicts and crises.
