Monica Stryker
Senior Coordinator (Freelance)
Monica joined the iac Berlin as the coordinator of Foundations for Ukraine, where she leads the development and incubation of the network. Passionate about bridging the nonprofit and philanthropy sphere, she works to create spaces where meaningful and impactful collaborations can grow.
Prior to joining iac Berlin, Monica spent six years at MitOst, working within the Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg and later managing Tandem Ukraine. Later, she transitioned to the European Cultural Foundation in the Netherlands, where she co-shaped and implemented the i-Portunus Houses program. With the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine, she shifted to freelance work, developing programs for international organizations supporting Ukrainian professionals forced to leave the country. She co-designed Vidnova Fellowship and Vidnova Lab and fully developed Vidnova Education, collaborated with ifa on mentoring programs, while also advising various organizations on their response strategies to the war.
Outside of work, Monica finds inspiration in exploring new cultures, visiting art galleries, and spending time in nature.
