Communications & Community Management Assistant
Selina is a working student in the department of Communications & Community Management. She maintains the online platform boschalumni.net and acts as the contact person for technical questions or suggestions regarding the use of the network's web presence. She is responsible for maintaining the Bosch Alumni Network's social media channels and community outreach.
Selina holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Business Psychology and is currently pursuing a Research Master in Social Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where she emphasizes research on socio-psychological processes of civic behavior and how to apply psychological knowledge in service of community empowerment and societal change. She grew up in Munich, but also lived in Hamburg, Lüneburg, Frankfurt, Lomé, Accra and Amsterdam.
She is passionate about civic participation and education, particularly in the contexts of international development cooperation and migration.
Civic networks do also play a big role in her spare time, in which she volunteers at the Afro-German Network of Academics and organizes community learning events from and for the Black community.
