ACTIVATING NETWORKS THROUGH SKILL-BASED VOLUNTEERING
Innovative and impactful engagement tools are key for leveraging the impact that networks can have. We explore the potential of different engagement tools focusing on the professional skills that are vastly available in networks and needed by non-profits and individuals.
In an increasingly complex world the expectations towards non-profits are rising while the budgets for organizational development remain constant or are decreasing. Simultaneously professionals of all profession are looking for purposeful ways to engage with their communities. Matching both can unfold new powers for all actors involved. Networks are the perfect prerequisite to start this change.
Together with pro-bono-intermediaries and other partners around the world we are exploring, prototyping and testing engagement formats like impact sessions, needs-assessments and digital tools that activate the skills of networks and communities for impact.
We draw on the knowledge of the Global Pro Bono Network, 6 years’ experience in the field of the BMW Foundation and other partners.
