Aino Garcia Vainio

Project Assistant

Aino is a working student supporting the team of the Bosch Alumni Network in various projects by assisting with project execution and event management.

Before working at iac Berlin, she worked as a project assistant in the department of international politics at the Körber-Stiftung. She completed a bachelor's degree in Cultural Sciences, focusing on Visual Arts and Political Sciences, in Berlin. During her studies, she has curated several exhibitions in various European countries and completed an internship as cultural manager in Lisbon.

Aino is currently pursuing a master's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, focusing on cultural practices in peacebuilding as well as the role of cultural identity in conflicts. From this background, Aino is interested in interdisciplinary approaches and the links between disciplines.

Apart from her studies and work, she draws and writes comics and enjoys experimenting with different artistic expressions.
