Elizaveta Fokina

Project Assistant

Elizaveta is a working student in the area of project and event management and supports various projects within the Bosch Alumni Network.

Before joining iac Berlin, Elizaveta completed her Bachelors’s degree in a Political Science and Arabic Studies. After graduating, she continued to explore different facets of the region and made study trips to Egypt, Morocco, and Qatar. She worked as an editor for the art and culture magazine EastEast, and was a project manager at the Max Planck Institute for Religious and Ethnic Diversity.

Elizaveta is currently pursuing her MA in Interdisciplinary Studies of the Middle East, focusing on cultural development in the region. This academic background, combined with her interest for contemporary art from the Middle East, has fueled her engagement with cultural and interdisciplinary projects.

In addition to her work and studies, Elizaveta is a music enthusiast and constantly on the lookout for under-the-radar artists to explore. She also dreams of running a marathon one day and hopes that one day this dream will become a reality.
