Isa-Maren Beck

Network Advisor (Secondment)

Isa joined iac Berlin in July 2025 through a secondment from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). As part of the Foundations for Ukraine team, she contributes her expertise to the technical design and organizational development of both the secretariat and the broader network. Her work focuses particularly on fostering connections within the GIZ Ukraine portfolio and strengthening collaboration with GIZ partners in Ukraine. Together with the team, she also designs and facilitates a variety of network formats.

Prior to supporting iac Berlin, Isa has been spending eight years with GIZ in Germany and also in Sierra Leone, working primarily on migration, civil society cooperation, employment promotion, and developing multi-stakeholder formats. Before entering the field of development cooperation, she gained experience at the German Red Cross working with refugees and in the publishing sector.

Outside of the office, Isa likes to play beach volleyball and recharges her batteries being outside in nature and enjoying cultural events.
