Lisa Richter
Coordinator
Lisa has been with the iac Berlin from the very beginning and still remembers a time without the sunny office spaces we inhabit now. She coordinates various alumni activities targeted at Bosch Alumni Network members with a background in media – for example webinars, study tours and research trips, barcamps, panel discussions or media conferences.
Lisa holds a master’s degree in cultural, European and social studies from European University Viadrina, State University Saint Petersburg and Humboldt University Berlin, where she focused on right-wing radicalism as well as Eastern Germany and Middle Eastern Europe. Before joining the iac Berlin, Lisa managed various international projects at the junction of journalism and political or non-formal education, amongst others for Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, German Youth Press and Demokratie & Dialog e.V.
Many of the topics that interest Lisa personally – such as Germany’s transformation since 1989, social cohesion and media landscapes – also play a vital role in the clusters “Media” and “Germany” that she coordinates. Another point of Lisa’s expertise on the other hand, her trivia knowledge of the Eurovision Song Contest, is first and foremost useful in her private life (and sometimes during office quiz nights).
