Mariana Villatoro

Communications Assistant

Mariana is part of the Communications and Community Management team, where she maintains the boschalumni.net platform. From suporting content creation to offering technical support and answering user questions, she helps ensure the platform remains a functional, accessible, and engaging space for the entire community. Additionally, she administers the network's social media outlets.

Originally from Guatemala, Mariana studied International Relations and is currently pursuing a Master's in International Security Management in Berlin. Before joining the team, she was actively involved in organizations working toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals and contributed to research projects focused on women’s political participation.

Throughout her journey, she has taken part in social impact initiatives, volunteer coordination, and community-driven projects. She's especially passionate about feminism, human rights, and social justice - values that continue to guide her work.

In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends.
