Mohab Saber
Senior Coordinator
With 15 years of experience in cultural management, Mohab joined iac Berlin in 2024 as part of the Networks in Philanthropy team to coordinate the “Culture in the Civic Space” learning journey in the MENA region. In this role, he works to strengthen networks and collaborative practices, and to amplify the role of cultural practitioners as field catalysts for social impact across the MENA region.
How arts and culture can drive social impact in a shrinking civic space has been a central question throughout Mohab's career. From his early days as Executive Director at ElMadina Arts in Egypt to his role as Lead Coordinator for the regional, EU-funded “All-Around Culture” program at MitOst e.V., he has coordinated cross-border programs that connect diverse stakeholders. During a fellowship at Ashoka in the USA, Mohab developed his expertise in social entrepreneurship and the intersection of culture and civic engagement.
Mohab holds a Master's degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Leuphana University of Lüneburg and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Criticism from Alexandria University.
Dedicated to driving social impact through the creative sector, you'll often find Mohab exploring Berlin's vibrant performing arts scene.
