Vinzenz Himmighofen

Director

Vinzenz's mission at iac Berlin is to advance philanthropic practices in Europe that leverage the sector's resources in systemic ways. To that end, he focuses on small-scale contributions with the potential to spread - utilizing research, organizing, peer-to-peer learning, and storytelling.

Before joining iac Berlin, Vinzenz co-headed SINGA Deutschland, a non-profit organization that connects newcomers and locals around shared passions and talents with a focus on community building and entrepreneurial education.

Vinzenz holds a master’s degree in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a Magister Artium in Islamic Studies and Political Science from Heidelberg University. He is a former Mercator Fellow on International Affairs with a focus on labor migration and economic development.
